For our founder, Tim, light first came from nature.
Growing up in a small rural village in China, Tim spent part of his childhood without electricity. When night fell, darkness covered the fields—but every summer, thousands of fireflies appeared. Their gentle glow transformed the countryside into a magical landscape, filling the night with warmth, wonder, and hope.
Those quiet evenings taught him something he has never forgotten:

That childhood memory became the inspiration behind LightMyself.
